Happy Halloween. Do you believe in ghosts? The supernatural? Or how about big foot or Dracula? To me some of the above Halloween associated things are outrageous but at the same time I would bet my life that some of them do exist. I believe in ghosts. I have never seen one myself but many people close to me have and have shared their experiences with me. I believe in gardian angels... I was close to death at one point in my life and was saved right before i started to loose conscienceness. I was saved by someone that i didnt know, and after they had saved me, they left and i never got the chance to say good bye. My mom was almost hit by car one snowy day in december. She had my baby brother in her arms. A women from across the parking lot at the store that she was at ran over to her ( a good 100m distance) and asked her the time. In doing this my mom moved from her current position. Right at that moment a car swerved off the road due to the thick ice build up and hit the women that asked the time. The women was fine but after she was hit she left my moms side without another word... When my uncle was a boy he was playing at the Glenmore resevoir and he slipped into the ice. A stranger came and pulled him out, brought him to his house, rang the doorbell and was never seen again. My question is how did he know where my uncle lived? He was passed out at the time, and then he just leaves him at the door and walks away. That man saved his life and didnt even stay for a thank you. I also believe in reincarnation... well maybe not so much that but my family has had weird occurances in our history. It seems that my grandmas side has had many tragic occurances with water. My grandma herself fell into the Red Deer River and was under the water for some time before she was rescued. I went unconscience after falling into a sand hole in a lake. I fell deep into the sand and was unable to get up again and passed out. My uncle also had his occurance at Glenmore. At each time though we were saved at the brink of death... My granddads side on the other had has had contless problems with fire. His granddads mill burned to the ground. His dads gas station burned down and then his lumber yard burned down. Its funny that water and fire met... to make a balance? Then men in my family are closer to fire while the women have a connection to water. I myself find that i draw countless pictures of water related things... for no perticular reason. I also believe in the power of Tarot cards. I have done countless readings on people and found that the past present and future that the cards tell is true... it only works if the card reader believes and the person getting the reading believes. I have revealed things that most people had not even told their families. Halloween brings out all the superstition in people, whether you believe in ghosts or big foot. I think that there is something greater then us, its holds us together-gives us wonder, and mystery in life.
