classic "partner look"

Oh the classic "partner look" as I call it. Your sitting in class and the teacher says that you will be put into partners. You immediatly turn to find who you want to go with (and hopefully they are thinking that they want to go with you). Now in my younger school days when the teacher said partners, everyone would call across the classroom -Wanna be my partner?- Then slowly as we got into older grades it just turned into a look towards your partner and a nod. I have now found being in grade 11 that when the teachers call out partner up! we just turn to look at the partner and once ours eyes have met we resume to listening to the teacher. Occationally I will notice someone will raise the odd eyebrow towards their partner but most of the time its just a look. Its odd to think that we have grown up in so many different ways... even in the choosing of our partners. In a sense we have adapted to our enviroment.
