So you're in the car with your friends and your favorite song comes on. You start to sing and after the chorus you have no idea what the words are. Up until this point you were singing really loud and now you have basically toned down to a little louder then a whisper. At this point the car has turned silent and are all listening to what you're singing. Another embarrassing car singing moment is when you sing the wrong verse of a song. You tune into a radio station and catch a good song half way through. You start to sing loud at the chorus and continue singing what you think is the next verse but you totally screw up and stop. ALL eyes are on you. Of course they make fun of you. Lastly, the most awkward of all singing in the car mishaps is when you sing the wrong words. You think that the words are something else and you sing them so wrong and everyone else in the car is like what did you say? Of course you just kinda mumble something that sounds similar to what the songs says. One good example that i have of this is from a commercial on the radio. I was 9 and the sleep country commercial came on and at the end they say "why buy a mattress anywhere else?". My rendition of it was Why get arractions anywhere else?" Because that wasnt awkward! So I have found a solution to all of these problems.....lipsync! Thats what I have resorted too. Doesnt draw attention to yourself and most of the time no matter what you say it looks like what the song is singing. The other options is just dont sing...but wheres the fun in that?
