ROCK TOGETHER!

OH the concerts. I recently went to a Motley Crue concert and saw the great mentality of the mob. All of the hundreds of people who were at the concert were there for one common goal, "to ROCK HARD". The whole stadium was booming with sound, to the point where my ears were ringing for an hour and a half after the concert. Everyone was screaming and "saluting" the glam rock stars. During this whole thing, I was thinking how what man can accomplish. Seems odd to be thinking this at a concert like that but, many things had to occur for that concert to be successful. Motley Crue had to decide to go on tour, create the show, hire people, design the tour design, make merchandise and so on and so forth. On the other end, the public would have to find out about the concert, buy the tickets, make arrangements to get there. Hundreds of people all coming to one event, for one purpose at one time. Given all the circumstances it seems, rather amazing. Considering how hard it is to get a group of friends together for a weekend. People can do extraordinary things when they are passionate about something.

Now Motley Crue does not affect everyone but lets look at something that does.

The environment. This is a broad subject but lets keep it there.

Now everyone is affected by the environment. We all however, are not passionate about this. Rock bands are more thrilling than the well being of all the people on the earth. People seem to be too involved with the not important things that they can become attached to. These groups of people who are so passionate about one insignificant topic and join together under it with no other relations is called a granfalloon. Interesting that all of the world is involved in one granfalloon or another.

My question is- If people of all different backgrounds and interests can all come together for one night of ROCKIN'! Why cant the whole world join together and become passionate about the environment which affects everyone.

Translation- People of the world join together, we can change this planet together!
